Since the conduct of the Conductor Lab activities at UFPB in 2016, about 60 students have passed through the laboratory. The project aims to research, train and recruit professionals within the university through a research environment. The methodology is based on the study of relevant problems of interest to Conductor and the proposition of solutions by students. Students are divided into teams of 2 or 3 students, who research a topic. These solutions are brought to Conductor's teams and, once approved, are developed by students at the prototype level. We recently changed the routine to monthly presentations, where students show the latest results and collect feedback from Conductor teams. We also changed the work format. From research work, we migrated to a more innovative format, which now focuses on developing innovative solutions and putting them into production at Conductor.
