Multi-Robot System for Picking in Industry 4.0

The field of robotics is vast, in particular Robotic Mobile Fulfillment Systems (RMFS). While the industrial area already has implementations in this type of system and there are several studies that analyze the use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), RMFS (which is also based on the same concept as AGVs) is focused on the use of a multi-agent system applied to Service Centers and Warehouses. The objective of this project with Automni is to bring innovations through the creation of the L-1BR picking robot, as well as a multi-robot system for input distribution logistics in order to ensure and eliminate technical impediments that are reflected in solutions that promote greater agility, compliance, and efficiency in the picking and transport of materials in distribution centers, allowing them to optimize the logistics system and reduce the cost of client companies.
